Autumn Family Sessions

We are excited to be now offering Autumn sessions in the beautiful Forest Glade Private Gardens in Mount Macedon as well our normal locations in the Macedon Ranges and Melbourne. A perfect opportunity to plan a family day trip and visit a local cafe, restaurant or winery in the Macedon Ranges after your session. Autumn is the most beautiful time of year when the glorious colours put on their magical show! Our absolute favorite time of year to create beautiful photos of children and families.   These sessions are lots of fun for kids of all ages, usually ending with a giant leaf fight and lots of laughs all round.

Forest Glade Private Gardens*

Forest Glade Gardens, recognised as one of Australia’s finest private gardens being almost 100 years old. Located on the southern slopes of Mount Macedon, this magnificently landscaped garden covers fourteen acres. This is a very special location and we are really looking forward to creating magical family portraits here. Available Mid Week only April – May. (No Weekends)
* Please Note the Forest Glade Private Garden Sessions have a fee of $150 due to fees to shoot in a Private Garden. All other locations are at no cost to you and covered with the Gift Voucher.

Macedon Ranges

We have various locations around the Macedon Ranges including Mount Macedon and Gisborne that we love to shoot. These can vary depending on the conditions. They each offer beautiful mature trees and plenty of magnificent autumn colour. Available Tuesday – Saturday April – May.

Melbourne

Queens Park, located in Moonee Ponds is our Melbourne location which is a beautiful spot for your Family Autumn Session, its a family favorite of many and beautiful at this time of year. Available Tuesday – Saturday April – May.

Where are the Autumn Sessions taking place?

Forest Glade Private Gardens in Mount Macedon (Mid week only)
Gisborne and Mount Macedon in the Macedon Ranges as well as Queens Park in Moonee Ponds.

What days are the Autumn Sessions available? Tuesday – Saturday. With the exception of the Forest Glade Gardens – These sessions will be available Mid Week Only. Please note that our Saturday’s are very limited due to popularity. We do not shoot on Sundays.

Who can be included in my Autumn Family Photography Session?
The Autumn sessions are designed for your immediate Family. Please chat to us to discuss who you would love to have included and allow us tailor your session to your needs. You may like to include your family Dog.

What should we wear?

Autumn can be cold especially in the Macedon Ranges, so make sure you dress warmly. We will send you more information on what to wear – You may like to read this post for some tips

Who are we?

Maple Gallery Photography is a husband and wife team, Brad and Suzanne Downer. We are a leading newborn and family photography studio based in Melbourne. We also live in Gisborne in the Macedon Ranges. With 15 years experience photographing newborns, children and families. If you are looking for a photographer who will take the time to get to know you, who will be able to relax your kids, then you are looking in the right place. Read more about us here

Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions:

• A $50 Refundable Booking Fee is required to be paid to secure and confirm your session upon booking.
• All gift vouchers are Transferable but not redeemable for cash.
• Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
• To be redeemed and used towards portrait products with Maple Gallery Photography.
• Can be redeemed for one session time only.
• One viewing/purchasing session per sitting will be available where all decision makers must be present.
• A dedicated design consultant will be made available to you at this time.
• Appointments are limited and are subject to availability.

Cancellation Policy:

• All Session Fee and Donations Paid are Non Refundable but can be rescheduled to another date if need be in the same calendar year.
• As we are a busy studio handling many appointments each week it is necessary for you to notify us of any changes to your appointment date/time in no less than 7 days.
• Failure to notify us within 7 days may incur a $75 Cancellation /Re-Scheduling Fee.
